Autumn Roasts

Every Wednesday and Thursday Night from 7pm

On every Wednesday and Thursday evening over the autumn period, we will be holding special roasts of pork and beef, cooked by Dido. Priced at just £10 (£9 Members), our dinners offer fantastic value for money and are completely delicious! What better way to relax during the week, with no cooking or washing up either? There's no need to book: just show up!

Winemakers’ Dinners are specially designed to showcase the world’s finest wines in the company of those who know them best: the winemaker.

This Winemaker's dinner will be hosted by Mark Savage, a Master of Wine since 1980, with over 30 years experience. He has been widely regarded in the trade as the possessor of a particularly acute palate, which he personally likes to think is more easily impressed by delicacy and finesse than by mere power. He has been a frequent judge at major wine competitions in the UK and USA.

Savage's Selection works with around a hundred different growers in 15 countries, which are, not surprisingly, small business enterprises.

Wine Journey is a wine course with a difference: we're taking a fresh approach to learning about wine, with the emphasis not on the textbook but on tasting and enjoying wine.  Wine Journey aims to cut through the snob factor in wine to provide the keys to the enjoyment of the wine you drink.

Wine Journey is an informal, entertaining course spread over four Monday evenings: the course offers a great option for a gift, or simply to treat yourself to four Monday evenings learning about something you love.  Email us or phone (01865) 558800 to reserve your place.

Monthly Selection Panel

Where you choose the wines

Next Panel: Monday 24th and Wednesday 26th November, from 6.30pm

The Selection panel is where you choose the wines for the Monthly Selection.  On two evenings each month, you'll have the chance to taste a total of twenty fantastic wines in five categories.

There's no need to book, and there's no charge: just come along with friends, taste the wines, and tell us which wines you'd like to see in the Monthly Selection.
